The most exciting season of the year has arrived
It is time to collect the grapes, which have been carefully cared for the whole year. The quality of the wine of the upcoming year will depend on these small grapes which will be hand-picked bunch by bunch.
These will determine the flavours and aromas that our wines will carry this year and we are certain that they will not let us down!
The time of harvest is determined primarily by the ripeness of the grape as measured by sugar, acid and tannin levels. This year the harvest has experienced a significant advancement in its collection dates, compared to previous ones, due to a year marked by significant drought in the majority of the Spanish territory.
For example, areas of Castilla La Mancha region begun harvesting the second week of August, meanwhile in D.O. Ribeiro in Galicia, the harvest will begin later than expected due to the lack of ripeness.
Anyhow, we look forward to a new year of offering the best wine, combined with the best packaging at affordable prices!
